Nicole Betts is the owner and operator of Soul Spark Coffee. Driven by a deep love for coffee and connection, she founded Soul Spark Coffee. As a passionate and heart-centered entrepreneur, she cultivates meaningful experiences that radiate love, positivity, and authentic connection.
Her bachelor’s degree is in Civil Engineering from California State University of Sacramento (CSUS). During her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, she worked at various coffee shops such as Peete’s Coffee in Fair Oaks and Java City on CSUS campus. Working at these coffee shops was where her love for coffee and tea began sharing memorable heartfelt moments with those she served. The coffee experience re-ignited and sparked an internal flame of her childhood dream of owning her own Café someday that has beautifully evolved into manifesting her own mobile coffee cart business in its perfectly aligned timing.
While dreaming about her coffee business throughout the years taking notes of what she wants, she worked as a Staff Engineer to a Senior Staff Engineer in the Geotechnical Civil Engineering field for roughly 8 years. With a major career change from years of burnout, she currently works in the Information Technology as a mainframe network specialist where technical engineering skills translated for a successful set of skills to thrive in the IT industry. After much contemplation, she decided to manifest her dreams into reality on the weekends while still maintaining and keeping her full-time job that she enjoys. In December of 2025, she officially made the jump to open Soul Spark Coffee.
She’s a multifaceted being, IT Specialist, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, curator of organic high quality body butters, plant propagator, gardener, bracelet maker, wood burner, nature lover, coffee & tea lover, now a mobile barista, and more! She loves the energetic community of Folsom, California where she owns and operates Soul Spark Coffee. She plans to expand and serve positive love infused drinks to surrounding areas.
